She is extremely fond of movies and just like any other girl of her age - she idolizes movie heroes. She dreams of her a picture perfect marriage with a perfect husband in them. Preeti mother Snehalata who suffers from a terminal illness, wishes to see her daugter merried and settled. Preeti's father informs Snehlata that a boy call Rishi will be coming the next day to see Preeti. Preeti's cousin sister Summi who overhears their conversation, excitedly tells Preeti about Rishi.
